admin,
I don't know if I am having a problem yet :D
My current system uptime is 22 hours but I just got to work 1.5 hours ago.
I am still in testing mode and only have one other user trying it out. I want to make sure it works prior to rolling it out to the technically challenged!
I went to download the new beta but noticed it is for centOS, do you have a beta for debian yet? (ubuntu is what I am running)
The reason I wanted the new beta was because I am frequently reloading freepbx and wanted to make sure I didn't have to ssh into the server and issue a fop2 restart everytime. But in reading your prior posts, it doesn't seem freepbx reloads effect fop2?
thanks for the help!
admin,
An idea until the next version is final...
Is there a way to make a button, or could you make a button on the Fop2 panel, that would restart the fop2 service?
That way it could be refreshed if there is an issue?
Another way to do it.... Is there any harm in running a cron script that runs:
/etc/init.d/fop2 restart
every 15 minutes?
thanks.
Nicolas,
Can the beta just be installed over the original?
Or what is the correct process for re-installing on a working system?
thanks.
Thanks for the reply.
For people looking in the future.....
If you are using the Freepbx module, then go to buttons, then
Scroll your browser all the way to the right to find 'external number' field. That is where you put the cell #
I did not realize there were more fields hidden on the right hand side of the page.
Voicemail is setup under 'extensions' on the main freepbx page.

I got the FOP2 panel up and running, but when I receive a test call and click on transfer to mailbox or transfer to cell nothing happens.
I can't find where to specify the mailbox or cell phone for the user.
I am using the freepbx module and have two users and no groups setup right now.
Didn't find anything in the documentation on these two features.
thanks.
It has a fully functioning perl version, I believe.
Here is the info.
This is perl, v5.10.1 (*) built for arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi
(with 51 registered patches, see perl -V for more detail)
The plug works really well with debian. I am sure there has been a lot of blood, sweat, & tears to get it that way. But I have found very few packages that would not install.
I don't have an extra plug lying around, sorry.
I would be happy to try and compile it if you want me to give it a whirl. I am not a linux guru, but have compiled asterisk, freepbx, etc.
I would assure you that I would not distribute anything and would happily pay the $40 if it will work and will delete it if it doesn't work at all or is not a good solution for my freephx plug phone system.
Thanks for answering my questions.
Thanks for the reply.
Based on the system requirements, it seems like it should run on any platform that can support linux.
C, php5, asterisk, etc.
Is there no way to compile it or install from source?
thanks.
Hello,
I am trying to get FOP2 to install on a Global Scale Tech (Marvel) SheevaPlug with:
Debian 6.0 (Squeeze)
Asterisk 1.8.3.2
FreePBX 2.8.1.0
Here is my uname output:
Linux plugpbx 2.6.32-5-kirkwood #1 Wed Jan 12 15:27:07 UTC 2011 armv5tel GNU/Linux
Here is my error message when I try and start:
-bash: ./fop2_server: cannot execute binary file
Is this a 32 bit issue, or something I failed to do?
If it is a 32 bit issue, is there a way to build from source?
Thanks.
