Thanks for the heads up Nicolas.
I was expecting this to be the answer, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything obvious...

Bob
I have a client with two Asterisk Servers (both running Freepbx)
FOP2 is working well, showing status of callers on both systems very well.
The issue is with the status of the trunks (one in Australia labelled Dahdi-syd and the one in New Zealand called Dahdi-nz).
The Australian trunk is an 10 Channel ISDN/E1/T1 (Dahdi1-10), the New Zealand one is 3 PSTN lines (Dahdi 2-4).
The important parts of the configuration are below for both buttons.cfg and fop2.cfg. Naturally we are not using the auto-config due to the two servers.
The issue is, that all the calls are showing that they are going out via the Dahdi-nz (which they are not - checked).
Could you explain further what the server1 and server2 variables are and what they effect. As you can see, from your instructions, I have added them. How are they used? and should there be a matching server variable in the FOP2.cfg so that the FOP2 can differentiate which dahdi line belongs to which server.
Hope you can help.....

Bob

Nicolas,
Not trying to sound rude, but if you are going to do minor updates to FOP2, please update the file name with some sort of sub version number.
i appreciate the initial download I did was very early in the piece, and you were still settling down your processes/website. It was only seeing a post mentioning some changes, that I realised that the download may be different, even though the filenames are the same.
I have now have two fop2-001-i386-glibc2.5-centos5 files where the fop_server is 5,999,769 bytes and dated the 30Jun and the second is 6,015,149 and dated the 31st July.
Otherwise the product is great.

Bob
Sorry Nicolas,
Just checking the forums, and found that you had responded to my early post (I forgot to turn notify on).
I will do a mockup to explain and post to you....

Bob
For those that are interested, I have just posted up a Tutorial on installing FOP2 Elastix (1.5 and 1.6Beta & will probably suit earlier).
This is not a replacement for Nicolas's extensive and very good documentation, but more of a quick how to get moving with FOP2 so that you can experience what FOP2 is all about. Once you have got the basics working, then spend the time and read the FOP2 documentation on how to improve and use FOP2.
The link if you are interested is
http://www.elastixconnection.com/index. ... &Itemid=97
It should also suit anyone with distributions such as PIAF, Trixbox and generally any Freepbx based distribution.

Nicolas,
Have been using it for a day now, and have to say a great product that is a great improvement over FOP1 and well worth the cost.
If I may, just a few suggestions:
Freepbx auto config should take the users login from the Freepbx Extension Login and secret (Not all users have voicemail enabled).
Even better, would be ideal if there was an add-in module for Freepbx, where you can set whether an extension, trunk, queue, conference, is enabled for FOP2, also under each extension what rights they have e.g. transfer / Meetme / etc.
Considering the smarts are already in the code, a simple page showing queues (Wallboard). Most small businesses would pay another $50 for a simple Wallboard, showing each of their queues, who is in the queue, how long in the queue and a different color for the users that have been in their for <3min Green >3min (orange) >5min (red), With those SLA times set in the config file. To show this function, just another toolbar button next to Phonebook. Especially with your flash auto adjusting the size depending on how many, it would look very professional. I am not recommending a Queue reporting program, as there are many others that do this, including your own Asternic Stats, but just a very simple WALLBOARD, in other words taking your Queue section of FOP2 and making it take up a full page with Queues
Otherwise fantastic product, still under test, but looking like its a winner.

Bob
