Hi Nicholas,
I have bought FOP2 before, this question is more on functional usage limit. I have a site with 70+ buttons by the time you count the extensions, queues, and conferences -
Obviously I can minimize my conferences, but the receptionist would like to see the 60 extensions on the system, will fop scroll in this case or what?
Are there any use cases that anyone can give?
thanks, love the new features!!
I think what has happened is a freepbx update has overwritten some of my fop web dir - I renamed fop2 to be panel when I first installed it, so I just recompiled my fop install and it works again.
I noticed this was an old problem on FOP1 concerning adobe flash - http://www.asternic.org/archives/msg03086.html
I seem to have the same issue on my FOP2 install, it has been running fine for quite some time (purchased version), all of a sudden the fop webpage loads with:
Couldn't load variables.txt?aldope=64572
The number being different everytime.
I have tried ./fop2_server -test and manager connection is fine, and it starts/stops just fine, so I think it may once again be an incompatibility with flash.
any ideas?
The system has been running fine in trial mode for a while now, I have been logging in with freepbx extensions just fine. I have disabled iptables and ip6tables just to be sure, and I have successfully ran the auto user import and auto button setup, and it correctly lists my extensions from freepbx. It just does not work after I registered it.
yes - its running:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4445 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 11234/fop2_server
When I try to login after entering my credentials it waits forever (funny how that was in the faq).
I am using freepbx with autogenerated buttons, and the system previously worked, although we have not used it frequently due to missing buttons, so today I registered a license, restarted fop server and tried to check it out, enter extension/password, and it just sits there attempting to contact server.
I tried the test to make sure ast manager connection was working, and it does. Anything else I need to do?
I know when running freepbx fop2 will auto-generate extensions each time it is started.
the problem here becomes that freepbx has no way of re-starting fop2 when changes are applied ie when new extensions are added.
It would be nice to have better freepbx integration.
and finally maybe a freepbx module that adds a Fop permission drop-down to the extensions page in freepbx.
