Thank you, hardcoding it fixed it. I'll have to dig deeper to see why the value isn't being pulled or if it might be missing for some reason.

vman started the conversation Transfer to mailbox rings extension.

    Hello,
I'm using 2.27 and when I try to transfer a call directly to a user's mailbox, the targeted user's extension rings. I took a look at the output of my autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh and I see that extenvoicemail=224@default seems to be missing the "*". Should this not have an asterisk in front of it? That is how I would have to dial it from an extension. Can I correct it in the script? I was going to make the change in the autoconfig script but didn't know what to edit. Thanks.

    Actually spying works properly too.

I typed an extension into Fop2 and my phone displayed my name properly and rang....i picked it up and the extension that I wanted to call rang and displayed the right caller id. Everything seemed to work perfectly.

Hi, I'm running 2.27 (upgraded from 2.26 in march) and when I try to pickup a parked call from the panel, I'm getting "Got SIP response 433 "Anonymity Disallowed" back from 10.0.1.11:24526". The IP address 10.0.1.11 is the address of the sip phone that is located with the panel user for picking up calls. If I dial the parking lot extension manually, I can pick up the call.

I 've looked to see if there's anywhere that something is not defined or there is a permission missing but everything seems to be set properly and permissions are very permissive or total allowed. I've gone through and made sure that trunk names match, extensions match, manager user has all permissions, etc....I'm not sure where there is any anonymity or if that may just be in incorrect indicator of a different problem but I think I've gotten about as far as my skill level will allow me on my own. Thanks.

Edit: I just did some more testing and found that if I pick up the call using FOP2 with an extension that has a Yealink phone (it must be allowing anonymous) and then transfer it to parked, FOP2 shows me the correct caller id, there doesn't seem to be anything anonymous about it. So I'm guessing that the problem is that when I hit the pickup button in FOP2, the call is connected but some information about the call is not included but I could be way off, I just don't know. At no other time have I ever seen "anonymous" come up on any extension or for any call in or out so I assume this has to be FOP2 related.

I've installed it without any problems and I am able to drag and drop an active call which is fantastic, I haven't been able to drag and drop a held call. Is there something I should turn on or change that would allow it? I realize that this is a future release and may not be ready, but I figured I would ask since it would be great to be able to do it. Thanks for the great product.

Thank you very much for letting me know. I look forward to trying the drag and drop feature which would be an incredible upgrade should it end up being reliable. Thanks!

vman started the conversation Operator Transfer held call.

    Hello,
I wanted to know if it's possible for the operator to transfer a call that is on hold on that same operator extension without picking the call up. When I try it on my system, the button does nothing. If I pick up the call, it works fine.

I have blind transfer enabled and all permissions given to the operator. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I'm running Asterisk 1.8 (PBXIAF) and the latest version of FOP2.

vman started the conversation Pass text in Caller ID from Operator.

    Hi,
I'm replacing a phone system that allowed the operator to type a message which would be seen in the caller id on the incoming call such as "Bill Jones cell, problem with his bill". I can't find similar functioning in fop2.

I know there is a chat feature (which I don't know much about) but my intention was for only the operator to use fop2 without having to have everyone logged in as well. If someone has some ideas, or if there is something that I am missing I'd love to know. Thanks.
