Disaster Recovery trial run

I’m on half way through my disaster recovery trial run, and I’m trying to finish up my FOP2 install/registration. I love the interface and think the FOP2 team hit the ball out of the park with this product. However I seem to be a little bit confused on how to use the “./fop2_server –revoke” command. Does this command need to be run from the old server? Or can it be run from the new server? Do I get to buy another license?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Yes, you have to run it from the old server. In case you cannot do that, a manual revokation should be requested via live help or email. In case of a hot standby cluster, if you cannot afford wait a couple of days to restore the license in case revokation is not possible, you might want to buy an additional license for the standby server.
