freepbx DND (*78, *79) status not displayed

  1. 14 years ago

    I am using trixbox 2802 and * 1.6
When dialing *78 and *79 on a phone the status only changes (DoNotDisturb) /free on the physical phone.
The status is not shown on the fop2 pannel.
I added the code from from FAQ 'exten => *78,n,Set(CHAN=${CUT(CHANNEL,-,1)}) ...'
    reloaded dialplan and restarted *
In * CLI 'dialplan show app-dnd-on' shows the correct code

    I tried (from /usr/local/fop2):
    service fof2 stop
    script output.log
    ./fof2_server -X 1

I do not find the status change in the logging.

How can I find out what is missing? Any help is welcome.

    Kind regards

    Hello,

The next fop2 release includes a sample extensions-override-freepbx.conf and the proper binding to make FreePBX DND work in concert with fop2. It works quite nice, but you will have to wait for it, I have to polish it a little bit and write the proper documentation before release.

    Best regards,

  3. do we have a release yet for this? it sure would be nice to display on the panel when the user set DND on.

The beta is available for download, but not from the download page, you can search the forums for the proper links. I will release it oficially really soon.

  5. Is the beta only for CentOS? Is there a chance for a debian version?

You can replace just the fop2_server binary, The beta for debian is:

    http://www.fop2.com/downloads/fop2_server_etch32

    or

    http://www.fop2.com/downloads/fop2_server_etch64

This two will work also on lenny and ubuntu systems.

So, just donwload the complete beta (fop2.tgz) and the binary for your platform and rename/replace the fop2_server file.
