when I start the fop2_server process it results in:

Compilation failed in require at script/fop2_server.pl line 1.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at script/fop2_server.pl line 1.

My installed Perl version is 5.8.5.
Any ideas what is wrong with my installation.

So I tried to install the perl from the download page but I get

package perl-5.8.5-49.el4 (which is newer than perl-5.8.5-36.3) is already installed

So I need to take off the newer perl and install the older perl - how can I do that?

I tried yum remove perl-5.8.5-49.el4 but yum asked me if it was ok to remove 262 applications Y/N so I said No!

Is there an easy way to move to the older perl?
