What is supposed to happen when I click on the playback arrow in the recording tab on FOP 2.24? Right now nothing happens.

Can you be more specific about "you should listen to the recording"? Should a flash player open up, or it call for a quicktime plugin etc? Or do the play and download button do the same thing?

There is a flash player embedded in the page, the very same play icon changes to a pause icon when playing a voicemail/recording. Please check the following post here for a fix for the recordings download/playback.
