Can't see conference participants

  1. 12 years ago

    Hi, thanks for a great product.
    However I can't see any partipicipants in meetme conference rooms.

    My buttons.conf:

    [CONFERENCE/355]
    type=conference
    label=Conference
    extension=355
    context=context=from-inside-Comsolvia

    I can see the conference button, and it changes color when entering the conference, but no participants.

    I'm not sure which context I should use, does this matter?
    Please help!

    You might have insufficient permissions in /etc/asterisk/manager.conf, try adding "all" both to the read/write lines for your manager user, then relaod asterisk, reload fop2 and try again.

    Another possibility is that you are not using meetme but the new conference bridge that fails to send events via AMI.

  3. Thanks for your reply!

    Tested "all" in permissions, still the same.
    I'm using meetme in Asterisk 1.2.

    Any clues?

    Ah, yes, you are using Asterisk 1.2

    you will need to upgrade.

    Best regards,

  5. Ok, I see. Thanks.

  6. They may have a configuration example for Asterisk 10 with ConfBridge?
    All attempts are unsuccessful.

    confbridge conferences are supported on 2.25beta, I do not remember if the feature was added in 2.24.

    however, ami events in confbridge are still insufficient, so functionality is a little less than using meetme (no reliability on mute/unmute state).

    There is no particular example, it is configured exactly the same for meetme as for confbridge

    [CONFERENCE/xxxx]
    type=conference
    label=some name
    extension=xxxc
    context=yyyy
